I was able to bring my disabled vehicle directly to Pacific Motors (could not get the manual transmission into reverse or 5th gear). Luckily, they are AAA approved and a certified SAAB repair garage. My SAAB is 16 1/2 years old, which makes it way beyond the time GM stopped making SAABS. Kyle (Pacific Motor Staff) had to hunt down parts and have them shipped from the East Coast. Kyle was really great in keeping me informed at each step of the diagnostic/repair path and the cost. The repair cost was expensive and Kyle gave me plenty of time to really think about my decision to proceed or not. While expensive, the car runs great now. They made all the agreed repairs and tested it out thoroughly to make sure it was working well. I'm very attached to my SAAB and hope to drive it another 4 to 5 years--so am very happy with the outcome. The repairs are guaranteed for 3 years or 36,000 miles. I really appreciated the open, thorough, and honest communication. Once the parts arrived, the repairs happened very efficiently. Also was given a AAA 10% discount on labor costs.

This is by far best place in Monterey to get your car fixed! Very professional stuff at the front desk, and professionalism goes way beyond the front desk as well! They provide fast and affordable service! My car has been always taken a great care of! If you need to leave your car at their shop for a day or so, they provide a local shuttle service as well. Altho I have brought my car here for the past 3+ yrs. this is the first time I have had to have a repair. Kyle went above and beyond to make it as easy as possible. He had to keep it there overnight to order parts and he made sure I got a free rental car. He also fixed a couple of minor things free of charge. Car repairs are never fun but I really trust Pacific Motors to do a good job and stand behind their work. They really go the extra mile. Don't hesitate to take your car here!
