My older BMW developed a "ghost" in the electronics, specifically in the alarm system, which would cause the alarm to go off intermittently, much to the annoyance of my neighbors and anyone else within earshot. I took it down to Pacific (with the alarm blaring), and explained what I could to Kevin. For the fixed price of the diagnostics and one door sensor (the diagnostic initially showed a malfunctioning door sensor, but its replacement didn't solve the problem), Kevin kept it in his shop over a period of several days, diagnostic equipment attached. The problem was narrowed down to a bad control unit but, because control units for these older cars are expensive, if you can even find them, Kevin recommended simply disabling the alarm system, which I did, and all is now well. My high rating is primarily for Kevin's desire to work with me, and his tenacity towards solving the problem.
