All of the personnel that I dealt with at Pacific Motor Service were very polite, professional, respectful, helpful, friendly and informative. They looked at my vehicle right away to determine what needed to be done first so they could get power to the truck, and then be able to conduct further checks to determine the root problem / cause. I truly appreciated that they called me and discussed everything with me prior to fixing / replacing any part, for my opinion / input as to what I would like / wanted to do. Another great perk was they had a shuttle service and took me to work and came and picked me up once my vehicle was done. That is such a terrific service to offer as it provides ease to those of us that still need to go to work while our vehicle is getting repaired. At 5:20PM on a Friday I am towed into their lot. My alternator is out, taking my battery with it. Kevin finds a supplier who will deliver a new alternator after hours, and then stays 90 minutes past closing time to personally make sure that I can get my vehicle back in time for a cross-state move. It is very rare to find a business that will go the extra mile for their customers. I wish I could take them with me, as I would go to them exclusively for all of my vehicle repairs.

Got my car checked out around noon, found out the problem was an alternator, and they had it replaced by the close of business that day. Not bad. :)

I've taken my BMW roadster to Pacific Motor Service on two occasions and have had equally great service. The first time was to deal with a set of suspension, engine performance and safety issues related to my aged used car, which were all resolved. In fact after the tune-up, my road MPG exceeded the manufacturer's highway estimate! My second visit was for routine maintenance and to address a leak that I couldn't address myself. Again, a quality job at a price that was appropriate for the work done. I don't have a garage to do all of my own service on my 15+ year-old BMW, so I wanted to find a place that respected me and my diagnostic skills to tackle issues that I wouldn't necessarily turn to a dealer for. Pacific Motor Service is not the highest nor the lowest price for auto service, but the people are honest, communicate with you as a customer, warranty their work, and get it right -- and that's worth every penny.

I am very happy with the quality of service. This is not the first time I have taken my BMW into Pacific Motors. Each time they explain exactly what is going on and why. They attempted to work with me on pricing for parts and the initial diagnosis did not break the bank. I am very pleased with the service and look forward to going back again...if only my BMW would run forever and never need service!

When Jim called to tell me that my car was ready, I immediately set out for the shop--and a good thing too. That's because when I got behind the wheel I noticed that the headlights had been left on after the vehicle had been brought back from the test drive. If I had dawdled in coming down to pick up my vehicle, by the time I got there the battery may very well have been run down and incapable of starting the car. However, I'm sure Jim would have had it charged up for me, but that would have taken some extra time.
