I had a engine problem at 4:00 on a Tuesday, and drove right there because I wanted to use a local VW repair place so I wouldnot have to dive to Salinas. I was greeted by Kevin; he took a look and then called me 1 hour later with the diagnosis, and the price to repair. The next mornig I arrived when requested to pick up my car. It was not only ready, but it was clean!!. That means a lot to me. I am grateful that I have found a VW repair place right in Butterfly Town, USA!

fine and professional except computer system is extremely slow and crashed when I picked up at close of business, causing a long wait for the half dozen people trying to settle up their car and get on with their Fri evening. I had noticed the balkiness of your system before. Time for an upgrade!

I’ve been servicing my 1997 Subaru Outback at Pacific Motor Service for close to 10 years now. I’ve been every time was very pleased with the quality of the service. Some months ago, when after a serious collision, I had towed my badly damaged car to PMS, I was again very pleased with the repair. A week ago, I took my car to PMS, for a tune up, break replacements, and some minor problems and got my car back in a fine running condition. Kevin and his colleagues were patient, courteous, attentive, thoroughly professional. This time, when Kevin my home that the car was ready to be picked up, my wife went to pick it up for me because I was at work. Kevin took her for a test drive, listened to her questions patiently and explained to her what was done and why. She was so impressed by Kevin, the mechanics, and the repair shop that she decided that in the future she would take her own car too to PMS. Thank you Kevin and the rest of you at PMS. Kevin is very helpful and the Toyota drives much better after the needed repair. We still need to return for a check up of the computer and the sensor connection.

Well, all's well that ends well, sorta, but there were some unnecessary glitches in getting a new battery into my '98 Isuzuz Rodeo. What could have been routine turned into several mis-ordered batteries and plenty o' wasted time. In the end, it was rather pricey, too, with $ 40 bucks charged for labor alone just to change out my batteries and re-hook one up, taking maybe one minute as the cables are clean and new having had an alternator recently installed at PMS, so there really is no justification for a $ 40 change-out in my opinion . Near $ 200.00 battery bill was pretty disappointing overall, but appreciate the service and darren does a fine job

Robb, Thank you for the feedback. I have to agree with you in that glitches do waste time. We are a service shop and not a parts store and sometimes getting correct parts can be a headache. I do appreciate the patience you had. In looking at the estimate, It appears I cut the labor time in half from $40. We do our best to please all of our customers.
