While visiting my sister in-law in Monterey, my car started jerking and would not drive. The tow truck driver took my car to Pacific Motor. He said they were very good. Indeed they were. After running diagnostic tests they identified my radiator had cracked. I drive an Infiniti FX 35. The car is 14 yrs old and in good condition. The front office staff, Beatrice and Rory, provided outstanding professional customers care. They shared information about where to dine and shop nearby, as I had to walk. The office was clean, stocked with books, and they provided me water. The technical automotive staff fixed my car within eight hours. This was amazing. Most repair shops could not come close to obtaining parts and completing repairs so efficiently. With complete confidence I drove my car back to San Jose. If I am in the Monterey area again, I will schedule time for them to service my car as prodigious customer and car care are hard to find.

I had an appointment at the Monterey Pacific Motors to have my oil changed. While they were doing that they told me my filters were overdue to be changed. I asked them to please go ahead and do that also. I am so appreciative that they really check my car over whenever I go in there as I dont pay much attention to that. My BMW has 113,000 miles on it and it runs like it was brand new, thanks to Monterey Pacific Motors. Beatrice and Rory are friendly, smart and professional.

Super amazing team, couldn’t have gotten my tire fixed without Beatrice! I got a flat on the highway and was recommended to Pacific Motors. Getting my specific tire on such short notice wasn’t really realistic but Beatrice helped point me in the right direction for the next best option. She made a pretty stressful experience really easy! Rory was very professional. He was truly an exceptional person. But your Prices are thru the Roof. Your quote was $4,000 for the Oil Pan Gasket alone. $7,000.00 total. I found a Reputable Auto Repair Shop, that’s gonna repair the Oil Pan Gasket for $900.00. I’m having it done today. Good Luck staying in Business, with those prices. We're sorry you didn't get the answer you were looking for. If it seems like there is more to the story here there is. The information you got from Rory included much more than the oil pan gasket. You brought us a 25 plus year old vehicle and asked for an assessment.Rory gave you pricing for a number of things. While it is true that $900.00 is substantially lower than the estimate we gave you, but in order to repair that leak PROPERLY, the transmission needs to come out. We pride ourselves in our ability to service many makes and models of cars at a very high level and we don't typically take major shortcuts. We are not the least expensive shop in the area (perhaps toward the top third), but we are at the very top end of value added. As you mentioned, Rory was very professional and his performance is consistent with the rest of our staff, especially our technical staff. I'm glad you were able to take care of the leak within your budget. Good luck in the future.

I came in originally to have a few things taken care of on the weekend before Thanksgiving and they had my car ready the next day. The TPMS light turned back on but I didn't have time to go back until last week. They recalibrated the system and changed my battery in my key fob for free. They have great customer service and I'm assuming they were just in a hurry the first time. I will be going back
