The people at the desk- Beatriz and Rory were amazing. They were extremely professional, personable, and communicative with me. The services were priced competitively especially for this area. The car was in shop a day longer than initially told to me and there was an instance where the dates and when services would be performed were inconsistent coming from each of them. Other than that, this place was great and I would return.

They charged me $196 for diagnostic for my prius ABS light was on then they quoted me a price of $1800 to replace my two front speed sensors. I got a quote from the Seaside Toyota and they quoted me $600 labor $317 per sensor. So no I am not satisfied with the high prices. I don't care they have 5 stars. I don't like throwing away my money. So I wasted $196 and do not recommend this place unless you like getting over charged. Rory behavior was extremely rude and very wrong. I am a travel nurse.

Hello Lori Thank you for your input and for your service as a nurse, but your story inaccurate. The prices you are describing are not what you told us during the encounter. Our price included additional items such as air filters and other maintenance items The price you told us the dealership quoted you for the sensors was around $1400 around $200 less than our price for the sensors (prices differ slightly depending on where you go; our labor rate was actually lower than Seaside Toyota). As for Rory's behavior, he has been here for many years. One of Rory's many strengths is his kindness, patience and willingness to work through difficult problems with clients. Is it possible you were having a bad day when you came to us for help?

We were just starting our vacation, first night in Monterey and came out to a car that wouldn't start on that morning. Beatrice became our best friend! She handled the tow truck service that got us started and then their shop replaced the battery after checking for any other electrical problems. Same day service. So lucky to have them in our corner!

I have been going to Pacific Motors in Monterey since we moved here 7 years ago. They are always great to deal with and have kept my 2012 Jeep in top condition. Today was no exception. I had a tire that needed replacing quickly and they took care of it right away.

I came in with a few lights turned on in the dashboard. Rory has great communication skills and explained what the issues were and how they'd fix it in clear detail.
