Once again, Pacific Motor Service went the extra mile for us. On a Friday, our son headed down the rural coast south of Carmel and called me to say that our minivan's "Check Engine" light had come on and the coolant looked a little low. I told him to call Pacific Motors and ask their advice, especially since we needed the minivan to carry gear for a long trip the next day. Service manager Beau told him to bring the car in right away but to check the fluid level every few miles. My son arrived at the shop only 20 minutes before closing time, but Beau had the problem diagnosed, staying late to be sure we'd be okay for the trip the next day. I took the car in several days later for replacement of the defective sensor. We were not turned away that Friday, so we did not need to seek another mechanic willing to stay late for us. Thank you, Pacific Motor Service team!

I called the afternoon before and asked if you could do a 30,000-mile service the next morning. The answer was "yes," and it would take about 2 hours. I brought it in at 9:00 and was called at 11:30 to say that it was ready. That is good service, especially on such short notice.

I thought that Beau did a great job in diagnosing why the service engine soon light was coming on, when I had just been in to do some basic maintainance anyways.

These guys are professional and good people. This was the second time I put my car into their care, and it is always returned in much better condition. The only downside for me is that the service is expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for, which is quality work.

At the last day of our vacation, my family and I stranded in Monterey with a major break in the cooling system of our Chrysler Pacifica.The AAA tow-truck driver reckoned that if any place was able to help me out the same day, this was it. And he was right. An hour and half later I drove off with my cooling problem fixed, the system flushed and all the accessible 2 cents rings replaced by solid ones. Needless to say I was a happy camper and so was my family. If it weren't for Bo and company we wouldn't have made it home the same day.I wish I could find a shop like this in the San Jose area and Normandin Chrysler could kiss my business goodbye. They serviced my car 2 months ago and it came back with 2 of the reported problems not fixed, and now this.Thank you very much for the good old fashion service guys. Good luck with the business. You deserve it.

Driving to CHOMP to see my grandmother, my car slowly lost power and eventually stalled out. Smoke poured out of the engine and into the cabin. I panicked, jumped out, and locked my keys in the car. It was a bad day! As we waited for the tow truck, my mom told me all about a new auto ship that she had recently discovered and had the BEST experience with. She claimed that this new auto shop had saved her 20% off her last maintenance visit, and even more important was how incredibly nice the staff were. It turns out that she was raving about Pacific Motor Service! We had the car towed to PMS, and they were great! We will definitely be back again - but hopefully under better conditions!
