Friendly and quick, but my god the markup on parts and the labor costs are crazy. if you can get your car out further do it, save yourself the money. but if you can’t they’re your most honest option.

Good afternoon Ryan, The prices in California, and on the Central Coast in particular, are indeed very high in comparison to Missouri; I can understand your shock, but I assure you, the quality of service and our world-class customer service are the best in the area. That, coupled with our 3 year/36,000 warranty (2 year/24,000 mile nationwide) make doing business with us worth every penny. You Jeep Garand Cherokee was in for a coolant leak coming from your oil filter housing, so it was a rather important repair, I am glad we were able to take care of it before any catastrophic damage was done! Good luck on your military adventure, wherever that may take you!!

Rory who is the manager there was very transparent with the work that would be done and the cost. Even though I was quoted that the work would be done on a Monday his team was able to complete the work the prior Friday which worked very well for my schedule. He continued to email and print all the paper work for me for my records which was great. I would recommend them to anyone:)

My experience with them was fantastic. Their mechanic was very efficient. Rory was super friendly and communicated everything with me very clearly and in a timely manner. I’ll definitely bring my car back to them if I need any help in the future.

My rear main seal was replaced in 2020 and I was told that there was a 3 year/ 36k warranty, this was also stated on my paperwork. Now the seal needs to be replaced again in less than 3 years, and now I'm told the warranty is 2 years / 24k because we are no longer in Monterey. I was never told this nor is it stated on my paperwork. This is a costly $2200 repair that I need to pay for again. I used this shop often and spent thousands of dollars with them and I'm so disappointed that not only did the repair fail, but they weren't honest about the warranty. I can no longer recommend this shop.

We do have, and honor a rather robust 3 year/36,000 mile warranty that covers all parts and labor. Our warranty specifically states the vehicle must be returned to us in order to take care of any issue. Regretfully, you have moved away from our area and are not able to get the vehicle back to us. We are also a part of a nationwide warranty network that covers all parts and labor for 2 years/24,000 miles. Unfortunately, you have exceeded those terms and are not covered under that system any longer. I assure you, however, we are concerned for all our clients' wellbeing, and would gladly install a new seal if the vehicle was here. Again thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I hope you understand our position better now.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. My family and I were on a road trip from the Bay Area, to Monterey, to Joshua Tree. On the way to Monterey a worrisome sound started to come from the front left wheel well. Well, long story short, they took car of us! (okay bad pun). But seriously, the two front office workers listened to us, and genuinely cared to help us get back on the road. And although the problem turned out to be a simple fix, they only charged us for the time it took to find and solve the problem. I wish I had a mechanic like them back home!
