Please allow me to add some factual perspective to your comments. The repair we completed was done quickly and expertly (consistent with our commitment to AAA to prioritize our mutual clientele). The cost of the repair was in accordance with our standard operating procedures and not exorbitant for the Monterey area. The parts involved were a power steering pressure hose: $238; a pressure switch (integral to the line) 137; power steering fluid approximately $35. Labor for the entire operation was $603 including the $80 diagnostic fee. After taxes and fees and your AAA discount, the total cost of your repair was under $1000. In many cases, power steering repairs can cost several thousand dollars. We appreciate you coming to us for service and wish you a safe journey home.
